When Human Resources joined the Provost’s Office portfolio last summer, we identified several opportunities to streamline and enhance employment-related activities. Our first joint success is a new Offer Letter Builder, which you will find on Human Resources' website at http://www.hr.arizona.edu/forms.php (select "Offer Letters" from the list of forms).

Letters of offer will now be issued to candidates selected for faculty, appointed personnel and classified staff positions to ensure understanding of the terms and conditions of employment and related commitments. By incorporating language required by Arizona Board of Regents and University policies, this new tool will make it easier for hiring departments to create offer letters and eliminate the need for Human Resources review. The Provost’s Office will continue to review faculty offer letters to reconcile recruitment plan commitments.
